Form Detective ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Mashangxue Software Development Center. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website at getformdetective.com and the Form Detective application at app.getformdetective.com (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

Create an account (email address, authentication provider ID)
Upload a video for analysis (the video file and metadata)
Make a purchase (handled by Paddle; we receive only transaction confirmation and plan entitlement — no raw payment card data)

We also collect information automatically:

Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
Device and browser information (device type, OS, browser version)
IP address (used for fraud prevention, not stored long-term)

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service
To process your requests and deliver biomechanics analysis results
To manage subscriptions and credit balances
To send transactional emails (purchase receipts, account notices)
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Video Data

Videos you upload are temporarily stored during analysis and are automatically deleted immediately after processing. We do not retain your video files. Only the textual analysis results and scores are saved in your account history. You may delete your analysis history at any time from your account dashboard. We do not use your videos to train AI models or share them with third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our Service:

Supabase — authentication and database
Paddle — payment processing and subscription management
Vercel — web hosting and CDN
Cloud AI providers — AI inference for analysis (data processed in transit, not stored by provider)

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Uploaded videos are automatically deleted immediately after processing; only textual analysis results are retained. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@getformdetective.com.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
